Coimbatore: Nilavembu Kashayam powder, to provide immunity in order to fight the COVID-19 infection, was provided by Valparai MLA Kasthuri Vasu in Valparai.
In an event organised in front of the Valparai Government Arts and Science College, MLA Kasthuri Vasu, who led the event provided 1,000 people with the Nilavembu Kashayam powder.
During the event she requested the people to maintain social distancing as advised by the government in order to keep themselves safe from COVID-19. She also insisted that people should wash their hands frequently.
Valparai Commissioner Dr. Pavunraj, Tahsildar Raja, Cooperative Bank President Hameed, City Secretary Mayil Ganesan, Vasu, Pon Ganesh, Salauddin and many others took part in the event.
