Due to the COVID-19 lockdown many political parties and volunteers have come forward to help the people in need. On behalf of the DMK the distribution of relief supplies was done led by the Coimbatore South District Secretary Thendral Selvaraj at Kamaraj Nagar, Thulasinga Nagar, Cooperative Colony, PAP Colony and to the residents of Nadumalai, Pachaimalai and Urulikal Tea estates. Through the Ondrinaivom Vaa program a large amount of relief work has been carried out.
