Case filed against Naam Tamilar Party Seeman in Kuniyamuthur police station


Coimbatore: A case under two sections has been filed against Naam Tamilar Party, Seeman at the Kuniyamuthur police station in Coimbatore.

According to reports, Seeman had participated in the "Shaheen Bagh" agitation in Coimbatore, on February 22, 2020. He allegedly had spoken in support of the Islamists and their fight against the centre on CAA, NRC, NPR. He had vehemently condemned the State and the Central government for imposing these laws on the Islamic Community.

After two months, the Kuniyamuthur police have registered a case against Seaman in both 124 (a) sedition case and 153 (a) anti-semitic speech.
