Central government is responsible for the protest of migrant workers: Tirupur MP Subbarayan


Tirupur: Tirupur MP Subarayan at a press meeting on Saturday alleged that the central government is responsible for the overall migrant workers agitation across Tamil Nadu.

In a recent notification, the Home Ministry directed the states to send the migrant workers back to their home states. However, trains and other travel arrangements were not made. Despite repeated requests to the concerned authorities, there was no proper response, the MP told.

MP Subbarayan also slammed the Police for lathi charging the migrant workers.He pointed that the cause of the rebellion of the migrant workers was due to the recklessness of the central government.
