Coronavirus: No new cases in Coimbatore, Tirupur and Nilgiris
Coimbatore: The spread of coronavirus has been continuously increasing at an alarming rate. Today however saw no new cases in Coimbatore, Tirupur, and Nilgiris and the total number of cases reported in Tamilnadu has reached 5409.
Today, the total number of cases in the state also saw another day of big increase with 580 new cases.
The Tamilnadu State Health Department had stated that “Till now 2,02,436 samples have been taken and sent for testing. COVID-19 testing is done in 36 Government and 16 Private labs all over Tamil Nadu. 5,409 persons have tested positive till date. 1,95,831 samples were tested negative.
