The Coimbatore CPI(Marxist - Leninst) submitted a petition to the District Collector on Wednesday demanding action against Hindu Tamilar Kazhagam which had published posts on Facebook on May 2, with an intent to create a religious tension among the people.
Coimbatore: The Coimbatore CPI(Marxist - Leninst) submitted a petition to the District Collector on Wednesday demanding action against Hindu Tamilar Kazhagam which had published posts on Facebook on May 2, with an intent to create a religious tension among the people.
The CPI (ML) in their petition alleged that social media posts of the Hindu Tamilar Kazhagam apparently had divisive content with an intention of causing religious unrest and separation.
Hence, action be initiated against those who had published these posts with the intent of causing religious intolerance, they told in their petition.
The CPI(ML)L also demanded legal action against the Hindu Tamilar Kazhagam.
