PCR tests conducted for Amma Unavagam employees and pregnant women in Coimbatore

PCR tests for COVID-19 were conducted for Amma Unavagam employees at the Rama Temple Mandapam in the Central Zone, Coimbatore Corporation.


Coimbatore: PCR tests for COVID-19 were conducted for Amma Unavagam employees at the Rama Temple Mandapam in the Central Zone, on Tuesday. 



As part of the preventive measures being undertaken to combat the spread of COVID-19, 250 people including the Amma Unavagam employees, sanitation workers and pregnant woman who are being treated at the Primary Health Centers were tested for COVID-19 using PCR test.

The Central Zone, Deputy Commissioner Mahesh Kanagaraj, Town Welfare Officer Dr. Santhosh Kumar, Assistant Town Welfare Officer Dr. Vasanth Kumar, Regional Health Officer Radhakrishnan, officers and public took part in the testing camp.
