Tirupur: Following the announcement by the Tirupur district administration permitting operation ofknitwear industries, Minister for Animal Husbandry Udumalai K Radhakrishnan held a discussion with the industrialists at the Collectorate, today.
"The announcement of granting permission to open knitwear industries is a welcome move. A four-member committee will be formed to ensure the needs of the industries and the industry representatives can convey their grievances to the committee for resolution", the Minister told.
"In another two days, a COVID-19 testing center will be opened in Tirupur. The center can test upto 210 patients, per day", he added.
Industrialists, MLA's and the District Collector took part in the advisory meeting.
