Fire engines deployed to spray disinfectants in crowded areas
Coimbatore: With lockdown norms relaxed starting from today, people are seen busy moving from one place to another. Owing to this, fire engines are being deployed to spray disinfectants at crowded places.
Upon orders, the Director of the Fire Safety Department, fire engines are put to use to spray disinfectants in crowded places including hospitals, markets, bus stands and crowded roads.
Disinfectants were sprayed from 9 AM to 5 PM under the supervision of Krishnamoorthy, Head District Fire Officer.
