Coimbatore: TPDK cadres including the Chennai District Secretary, Kumaran and Janardhanan who had been imprisoned for 100 days on allegations of throwing petrol bombs on the house of the Thuglak magazine Editor Gurumurthy were released on bail.

They were imprisoned under the Goondas Act which was later revoked. Following this they were granted bail and released from the prison.
The case was handled by senior lawyers Sankarasubbu and Paavendhan. The TPDK General Secretary thanked the lawyers who appeared on behalf of the cadres.
