Coimbatore:In a bid to create awareness on coronavirus infection, city's goldsmith and miniature artist UNT Raja has designed a model with the head of the serpent to denote the pandemic.
UMT Raja, a goldsmith from Kuniyamuthur, Coimbatore, is known for creating social awareness through miniatures. Notably, his miniature during Jallikattu, save nature, world cup, and other campaigns garnered much public attention.
In view of the ongoing pandemic situation, Raja has designed a miniature sculpture of a head of a serpent connecting poison and the novel coronavirus infection to denote it is like a deadly poisonous snake.
"Mass awareness is the need of the hour. Still people are unaware of the pandemic situation. People have to mandatorily adhere to all safety measures proposed by the government like social distancing", he told.
