Coimbatore: The International Workers Day celebrated on May 1, as May Day, was commemorated by CPI(M) cadres today at Coimbatore. They raised the representative red flag and pledged their support for the labourers.

The event took place in front of the CPI(M) Coimbatore District Wing office and was presided over by the District Working Committee Member K. Manoharan. District Secretary of CPI(M), V. Ramamoorthy raised the red flag and delivered his May Day speech.
District Working Committee Member N. Jeyabalan and many others took part in the event while maintaining social distance.
Similarly, CITU and CPI(M) members all over the district raised the red flag and took the May Day pledge at their own homes.
