Coimbatore: In a noble initiative, inmates of the Ananya Nana Nani Homes and it’s management donated Rs. 10 lakh to those suffering from Covid-19 lockdown here.
The collected amount was offered to the Coimbatore District Collectorate Public Relief Fund to procure Personal Protective Kits and N-95 masks for doctors of Coimbatore District.
Karthik Kumar, Executive Director, Ananya Group, met District Collector K.Rajamani on Friday and handed over the cheque of Rs. 10 lakhs to help frontline health workers.
Notably, several private organisations and NGOs have contributed to the COVID-19 relief funds to help boost preventive measures and help people who are affected due to the lockdown.
