In this scenario, 113 Sri Lankan nationals who visited India were stranded in TN and Kerala due to the stoppage of flights.
SriLankan Airlines therefore arranged a special flight from the Coimbatore Airport to transport these passengers back to Sri Lanka. The 113 passengers were brought to the Coimbatore Airport from various places in a bus.
Following this, the SriLankan Airlines flight transported the passengers back to the capital, Colombo.
