Coimbatore: In a thoughtful act, teachers of the Thondamuthur Union Panchayat Primary School at Vellimalaipattinam here have offered groceries to parents of students who are studying at the school.
Coimbatore: In a thoughtful act, teachers of the Thondamuthur Union Panchayat Primary School at Vellimalaipattinam here have offered groceries to parents of students who are studying at the school.
The staff including Head Mistress Kavitha, Assistant Head Mistress Shanthi and Noon Meal Organiser, Mohana identified 30 students who are below poverty line of the 38 students of the school.
They then pooled in money and offered groceries for 15 days amounting to Rs. 15,000.
Social distancing was followed in the event headed by Vellimalaipattinam VAO Vignesh.
Teacher S. Senthil Kumar, D. Mahendra Kumar and others organised the event.
