YJ Kalidas, Deputy Secretary of DMK Agriculture Wing distributed welfare measure worth Rs. 10 lakhs. He also gave Rs 500 cash to over 100 families on his personal account.
Among the relief measures were bread, biscuits, tea powder, pulses, oil, etc., Families living in Aniyada, Indranagar and Mullai Nagar areas who were stuck for food, under the Edappalli panchayat largely benefitted from the relief measures.
