Shining a light and acting as an example the Tirupur District administration has handled the case of the homeless people all over the district in a manner that will help keep them far from being homeless when the lockdown is lifted.
In a tweet regarding the case of the homeless, the Tiruppur District Collector Vijayakarthikeyan said, "152 homeless people who were found at various places across Tiruppur when the lockdown began were taken to Pazhaniammal school and since then, have been taken care by the District Administration, with support from Rotary. They will now be given vocational training/ skill development so that they become self sufficient when they get back to the society after the lockdown."
This is a good move to keep the people engaged and also to up skill them during the lockdown.
