Coimbatore: "Emalogathil offer" short film released in Coimbatore to raise awareness amongst the public to avoid coming out unnecessarily grabs the attention of the public. With the coronavirus spreading across the world at an alarming rate, there is a nationwide curfew to make people stay indoors.
Though it is strictly implemented in TN, people still find reasons to come out unnecessarily. To avoid this the Perinaickenpalayam Revenue Inspector Noor Mohammed wrote the story, screenplay and dialogues for a short film to raise awareness about the coronavirus. The short film was directed by Sophan and produced to Coimbatore Pacific Media.
The short film, which is about six minutes long, is made up of two characters - Chitragupta and Emadarmaraja - based on the theme "Be Aware, Maintain social distancing and stay at home!"
This was released by the North zone MLA, PRG Arun Kumar. Subsequently, the inspector of the Periyanickenpalayam Police Station Prithviraj released the short film on YouTube.
The short film was made to make people aware of the importance of staying home as coming out unnecessarily will increase the death toll and aid the further spread of the infection.
The expectation is that the public will be aware of the adversities at least after watching the short film as they are still walking freely on the roads even after repeated advice by the police.
