An official notification has been addressed to all Deans of Agricultural University ordering all University Officers, Head of the departments, KVKs to report to duty from April 20 onwards.
Meanwhile, instructions have been passed to fumigate the entire premises of TNAU and other agricultural colleges with disinfectants to ensure a clean and safe working environment for the staff members.
The GO also notified that a medical team will be assigned to TNAU and respective colleges to inspect the health of the employees.
The GO has certainly brought discontent and shock amid the employees, as Coimbatore is ranked the second most COVID-19 infected place with 127 cases and rising. With many employees already left to their hometowns, the GO ordering to resume work in another couple of days has triggered panic and questions ami g the employees.
