Coimbatore: According to reports from State Health Ministry on Friday, the number of positive COVID-19 cases is 25 in the State, thus so far the total cases being reported in Tamil Nadu is 1323.
Notably, no new cases have been reported in Coimbatore, Tirupur and the Nilgiris district. The total cases in Coimbatore is 127, 80 in Tirupur and 9 cases in the Nilgiris district.
With Nil cases reported in Erode, Salem and Namakkal, Karur has reported one positive case today. Today's report confirms that majority of the districts in the Kongu belt have reported nil cases and a receding trend.
As of Thursday, 1 new COVID-19 positive case was reported in Coimbatore and Tirupur district, with Nil cases today, the news has come as a sigh of relief to the people and the district administration.
