Coimbatore: To aid the people suffering from hunger during the lockdown, the police today contributed groceries to a family in Rathinapuri. Dinesh, age 23, son of Balan, is living with his wife and three-year-old boy and 9-month-old baby girl at the Rathnapuri police station limits in Zahir Hussain street, KK Nagar.
Coimbatore: To aid the people suffering from hunger during the lockdown, the police today contributed groceries to a family in Rathinapuri. Dinesh, age 23, son of Balan, is living with his wife and three-year-old boy and 9-month-old baby girl at the Rathnapuri police station limits in Zahir Hussain street, KK Nagar.
Upon information that the family was living with no means of food due to the lockdown, the Coimbatore Central Zone law and order Deputy Commissioner Karthikeyan and Rathinapuri Police Station Inspector Deivasigamani contributed 1-litre milk, 5 kilograms of rice, 5 kilograms of atta, one-litre oil, 1 kilogram of dal, and 5 kgs of vegetables to ensure the family doesn’t live in hunger.
This video of Dinesh went viral on social media saying he and his family have been struggling to get groceries. The police have swiftly moved to provide the man and his family with the necessary groceries and have asked anyone with similar issues, to approach the nearest police station to get help.
