Coimbatore: The Coimbatore Police have continued the spree of booking cases and making arrests in the Coimbatore District to ensure that people don’t roam around unnecessarily. Today a total of 356 cases were registered, 357 arrests were made and 314 vehicles have been seized in the Coimbatore City for violating curfew.

Today a total of 356 cases were registered, 357 arrests were made and 314 vehicles have been seized in the Coimbatore City for violating curfew.
Out of these, 58 cases have been registered and 58 motorcycles were seized within the jurisdiction of the Big Bazar Street, R.S. Puram and Variety Hall road Police stations. These vehicles were caught when police conducted vehicle checks and motorists were found travelling without face masks.
In the suburbs, 363 cases have been registered, 408 were arrested and 352 vehicles were confiscated. This makes it a total of 720 cases booked, 765 arrested and666 vehicles seized in Coimbatore District yesterday alone.
