Seeing the pug marks, Venugopal, the farmer alerted the forest department who arrived to the spot and examined the carcass of the dead cow.
As incidents of tiger attacking cattle is reported at regular intervals, the revenue and forest department officials have fixed four cameras to monitor the movement of tiger.
The villagers of Amabalamula have urged the officials to trap the tiger.
