There is an allegation that the doctors and trainees are not provided with adequate safety equipment.
Doctors will be placed on observation after treating patients. However, it is alleged that the boarding facility provided by ESI hospital does not have enough basic facilities, including food and drinking water. DMK MLA N. Karthik said “the doctors and trainees should be provided with immune-boosting foods during this emergency.
The trainee doctors have complained that the food provided by the hospital was very poor. Doctors are at the forefront of the fight against Corona. If they get infected, it can also affect the corona treatment. Therefore, the District Collector should review the problems of the doctors and take measures to ensure that the basic needs of the doctors including food and drinking water are safe and secure."
