The Gudalur Tahsildar received complaints about the Minha Departmental Store in Sevidipettai, Gudalur for selling goods at a higher price.

The Gudalur Tahsildar received complaints about the Minha Departmental Store in Sevidipettai, Gudalur for selling goods at a higher price.
Following this complaint the Tahsildar initiated an inspection at the store and it was confirmed that the store was selling products at a hiked up price.
Many items were sold at greedy prices. Eggs were being sold for Rs.6.50. Following this the shop was closed and sealed in the presence of Gudalur Divisional Officer Rajkumar, Tahsildar Sangeetha Rani, Revenue Officer Ramesh and the Gudalur Police Inspector Sivakumar.
The Revenue department officials instructed the people of Gudalur to inform them about any other shops that are selling at hiked up prices.
The people and the other social activists have thanked the Revenue Department and the Tahsildar Sangeetha Rani for their prompt action against such illegal activities.
