Coimbatore: Tea Estate workers of the Tamilnadu Tea Plantation Corporation Limited at Valparai have not been to work for the past 21 days due to the lockdown. In order to provide assistance to these workers the Valparai AIADMK distributed them with bags which contained 10 vegetables.

The bags were distributed by the Valparai Cooperative Bank President Valparai Hameed.
Distribution of these bags were done at the Cinchona Lawson Division campus. In the first phase, vegetables bags were provided to 300 people in the Cinchona first division. This was followed by the distribution for the fifth division region including Chinna Kallaar, Periya Kallaar, Neerar Dam and Patthaampaathi.
City AIADMK Secretary Mayil Ganesan, executives Salauddin, Ponganesh, Narasappan and many others took part in the event.
