In this situation patients from Nilgiris and Tirupur along with the patients of Coimbatore are being admitted at the Coimbatore ESI. A total of 126 patients are now being treated for the disease. Last week five patients had been discharged from the hospital after fully recovering from the disease. Yesterday, six more patients have been cured and discharged by the hospital administration.
All the six discharged patients are men aged 40 to 50 years and they have been tested negative for the virus. Following their discharge these patients will remain in home quarantine for 14 days and monitored regularly by the health officials. They have also been advised to immediately inform the authorities, If they develop any other symptoms or complications while in home quarantine.
