Coimbatore: The Coimbatore District Ikkiya Jamaat has stressed that those attended the Delhi Tabhiligi convention have no sign of Corona despite the coronavirus test being conducted on a large number of Islamists who attended the Delhi Tablighi conference. Many cases in the state though have had connection to those who attended the Tablighi Jamaat conference.

The press conference was held on behalf of the Coimbatore District Ikkiya Jamaat and Abdul Jaffer, General Secretary of the organization, said that “the coronavirus infection should be confirmed in case of cough, but there was no sign of those symptoms in those who had gone to the Tablighi conference.”
He said that “I will not accept those who call Tablighi convention attendees as CoronaJihad as they would never spread the disease. The medical officers should adopt transparency and come out with test results in this regard, stating that Islamists who have already died have already had shortness of breath and heart disease. The State Department should provide a proper description of the participants of the Tablighi conference. It is unacceptable to lockdown an entire area when only one house in a street has been identified with Corona infection.”
