Chennai: The spread of the coronavirus has been continuously increasing and has nearly doubled every 4 days which is an alarming rate. Today saw the biggest jump in the number of cases reported in Tamilnadu and the total has crossed the alarming 1000 mark.

The total number of cases in Coimbatore District has gone to 119 and Tirupur total has more than doubled in a single day to 60 from the count of 25 cases until yesterday.
The number of cases in Coimbatore has doubled in the 5 days. The total number of cases until April 07, 2020 was 60 and it has almost doubled to 119 cases as of today April 12, 2020.
