Four people tested positive in RS Puram; shifted to private hospital



Coimbatore: As per the latest update, four people residing in RS Puram have been tested positive for COVID-19. 

All four have been shifted to a private hospital in Peelamedu today for treatment. Reports from health department suggested that two of them have travelled via Indigo flight from Delhi to Coimbatore on March 24. 

It is also reported that the whole apartment has attended the funeral of a family member who had passed away 3-4 days back.  Furthermore the health officials are tracking the movement of these four individuals during the lockdown like the grocery shops visited and if they had moved around. 

Following this incident, many areas in RS Puram especially West Periasamy road has been cordoned off.
