Coimbatore: NGOs, individuals and all political parties have been doing their bit to help people who have been stranded due to the lockdown. Thousands of volunteers and leaders have been distributing food materials for people and other equipments for healthcare workers.

Following this, Makkal Needhi Maiam’s Vice President, Dr. R Mahendran today distributed food materials to over 1000 families.
Further, he distributed 100 PPE kits, 75 N95 masks and 10,000 gloves to the Pollachi GH. Also, they handed over 1000 kg rice bags at the Tahsildar office at Kullichettipalayam village.
