People who are isolated and quarantined in their homes by the city corporation are to be strictly in quarantine and no friends or relatives are to visit the home. Even those in their homes are to not venture out and have to maintain strict social distancing while venturing out for buying goods.

Feroz Khan who is a relative of a quarantined person, had visited their home in the Kuniyamuthur, Vasantham Nagar area in Coimbatore. Coming to know about this through the neighbors, police have arrested Feroz Khan for meeting a quarantined person going against the restriction.
He was arrested and jailed by police who filed a case under the Violating rules of curfew and Infection Prevention Act.
