Gamblers arrested in Ukkadam

Coimbatore: Big Bazaar police received information that people were were gambling in the Al Ameen colony in South Ukkadam violating the curfew.

Coimbatore: Big Bazaar police received information that people were were gambling in the Al Ameen colony in South Ukkadam violating the curfew. 

Sub police Inspector Manikandan then went to the spot and arrested the suspects. Mohammed Farooq 54 from Bilal Nagar in Ukkadam, Shahul Hameed 54 from Al Ameen colony, Suresh Kumar 37 from Kembatty colony, Abbas 45 from Karumbukadai were arrested. 

Cash of Rs. 38,750 was confiscated from the gamblers and further investigation is underway.
