The Nilgiris: Coonoor AIADMK MLA Shanthi Ramu inspected the Amma Unavagam in Coonoor and addressed the grievance of the employees. Further she tasted the lunch prepared at the venue.
Speaking to the press, she said, "The CM had advised the party members to provide all three meals of the day at Amma Unavagam, with eggs until the end of the lockdown. Following that advice, the Amma Unavagam at Coonoor will serve all the three meals of a day with egg. Each day more than 800 people eat at the Amma Unavagam in Coonoor. Arrangements have been made to feed a larger number of people than the expected number."
Former Chairman of Aavin L. Mani, City Secretary D. Saravanakumar, City President Nirmal Jain, District MGR Youth Wing Assistant Secretary N. Sekar, former counsillors Gopi, Uma and Anna Traders union Secretary Srinivasan took part in the inspection.
