Sri Shakthi Group of Institutions contributes protective gear worth 5 lakhs for doctors in Coimbatore

Coimbatore: Coronavirus infection in India is increasing day by day. In Tamil Nadu, as of yesterday, 738 people were affected by corona. They are being treated in various hospitals. The protective gear is necessary for doctors and nurses who risk their lives while treating the patients.

For this, on behalf of the Sri Shakthi Engineering College of Technology and the Sri Shakthi International School, today, April 9, the college's president, S. Thangavelu, presented 400 boxes containing PPE wear worth Rs. 5 lakhs for doctors to the Coimbatore District Collector Rajamani. 

Each suitcase contains five dresses, including a full-body robe, helmet, stockings, gloves, nose and mouth mask. District Collector Rajamani, Thangavelu, Chairman, Deepan Secretary, Seelan Deputy Secretary, Ravikumar Vice Principal Sri Sakthi Engineering Technology College was present.
