183 cases, 185 people were arrested and 120 motorcycles, 3 cars and a load auto were seized in Coimbatore City alone. In the suburbs, 437 cases have been registered, 483 were arrested and 434 vehicles were confiscated yesterday.
From the 25th March to the 8th of April, 4879 cases have been registered and 5524 persons have been arrested. A total of 4680 vehicles have been seized by the Police Department.
