Following this now the administration has launched the first of it’s kind COVID19 Sample collection Booth. This booth has been setup in the Tiruppur GH premises. The patients screened at the Covid-19 booth or Covid 19 fever clinic at the entrance of the GH shall be guided here for collecting the sample.
Tirupur: The Tirupur District Administration continues to lead the state through many initiatives that have been launched for the first time in TN to combat the spread of COVID-19. The administration led by Collector K Vijayakarthikeyan was the first to launch the disinfection tunnel in the market and now in the Collectorate too.
This initiative has helped contain the infections in crowded places and has now been implemented in Coimbatore and Udumalaipettai too. Tirupur administration was also the first to track all Delhi conference travellers from the district and get them into isolation.
Following this now the administration has launched the first of it’s kind COVID19 Sample collection Booth. This booth has been setup in the Tiruppur GH premises. This is the first of the booths to be deployed and the Tirupur Collector has said that the administration is planning to deploy more such booths in containment zones to enable people to come forward for testing voluntarily.
