Health checks being conducted for policemen rejoining duty

267 policemen of the firearms force, 84 policemen of the disaster recovery force and 72 policemen of the TN Special Police force are being checked for fever and cold by a seven member team of the District Health has Department.



Coimbatore: Many public servants including doctors, sanitation workers, nurses and policemen are involved in the COVID-19 preventive measures in the city. They work in the frontline of duty and take high risk to perform their duty during these pandemic times.  

 

Policemen are involved in the COVID-19 prevention duty on a rotation basis from the time the lockdown was imposed. To ensure the safety of the policemen and women in duty,   health checks are being conducted for the policemen who are returning to duty after their leaves.
