Today too we might receive medium to heavy showers post lunch for a few hours. All major areas of Coimbatore and surrounding towns like Periyanaickenpalayam, Avinashi, Tirupur, Pollachi and Mettupalayam should receive copious rainfall. This should come in as a welcome break for the summer heat that has been building up.
