Coronavirus: 1 new case in Coimbatore; 69 new cases in TN

Coimbatore: With just one more positive case reported in the city on Tuesday, the people are keeping their fingers crossed hoping for the virus spread curve to flatten. However, compared to yesterday, the total count in Tamil Nadu has increased by 69, thus adding the total to 690.


Coimbatore: With just one more positive case reported in the city on Tuesday, the people are keeping their fingers crossed hoping for the virus spread curve to flatten. However, compared to yesterday, the total count in Tamil Nadu has increased by 69, thus adding the total to 690. 

As of April 7, the overall count of COVID-19 positive cases stands at 60 in Coimbatore district. With just one new case added today to the existing positive list, the officials are working round-the-clock to contain the spread. 

The District Administration has appealed to the citizens to stay indoors and maintain hygiene at all times.
