Coimbatore: Responding to the call of citizens during this COVID-19 pandemic, an emergency request to the transport a lady who recently delivered a baby and developed sudden post pregnancy complications and pain during the curfew, came in on March 29th.
Coimbatore: Responding to the call of citizens during this COVID-19 pandemic, an emergency request to the transport a lady who recently delivered a baby and developed sudden post pregnancy complications and pain during the curfew, came in on March 29th.
Lt.Annapoorni was assigned this task by her Commander Lt Esan, who heads the voluntary Disaster Rescue Squad. The serving Army Officer who was currently on leave, spoke to the concerned doctors at the PSG Hospital Emergency through Retired Dr. Major Kamalanathan. She also arranged transport to the hospital and also arranged a pickup to transport the lady back home after the treatment.
The dedication of the officers even while on leave proves the statement that, "An Army officer is never on leave."
