The Seesha Trust has been undertaking many awareness campaigns including hand washing campaigns. As a part of the measures being taken up by the trust, the students of Seesha Trust have manufactured 150 litres of hand sanitizer. They presented the hand sanitizer and face masks to the District Collector.
Speaking regarding this, the CEO Samuel Thomas said, "To combat the spread of COVID-19 the use of face masks, hand soaps and hand sanitizers have been emphasised. The shortage of these products have been a cause of concern and the students of the trust have been working to help with the situation. The students of Karunya University have manufactured hand sanitizers in accordance with the norms of the WHO. 100 litres of hand sanitizer have been presented to the District Collector previously and now 150 litres of hand sanitizer and face masks have been presented to the District Collector."
