Strong action is being taken against those who misrepresent the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and the government's actions. The police have arrested a youth from Coimbatore for derogatory comments. Riazkhan (22), in charge of the IT wing of AIADMK from Coimbatore, complained to the Saravanampatti police station about the slandering about CM on social networks and apps by certain individuals.
Investigations carried out by the police have revealed that an account named Karuppukuthirai has been slandering about Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi Palanisamy, Minister SP Velumani and Thangamani. Accordingly, the police led by Saravanampatti Police Inspector Selvaraj filed a case and investigated the incident.
The investigation revealed that Sudarshan, 22, a software engineer from Arumbakkam, Chennai, was the one who posted slanderous comments under the name of 'Karuppukuthirai' and filed cases and arrested him.
