Coimbatore: In what would come as good news to the millions in Coimbatore, 5 patients who were tested positive for novel coronavirus infections have fully recovered and have returned home today.
They were taking treatment from ESI Hospital in Singanallur. The patients include the Railway doctor, her 10 month old baby, her maid, the 57-year-old patient who was the very first case from Tirupur and the 25-year-old student who was the first positive case in Coimbatore have all recovered fully and have returned to their homes after the approximately 14-day treatment in ESI Hospital in Singanallur, Coimbatore.
Furthermore, all 5 of them have been asked to be in 28-day isolation while at home and have been asked to report to the District Administration if they have any symptoms recurring again.
The District Administration has also clarified that a total of 300 people have been tested thus far in Coimbatore, out of which 228 have been declared negative. The District Collector also stressed that the administration along with health officials is working very hard to keep the disease in Stage 2.
