This takes the total number of COVID-19 cases to 7 in the Tirupur district. The total number of cases in TN has risen by 50 to 621.
Following these new cases, few areas in Tirupur like Angeripalayam, Devarayampalayam and Mangalam have been marked as containment zones. Containment zones have an area of 3km radius from the point where positive Covid-19 cases have been identified.
