Coimbatore: After reporting a whopping 29 new cases yesterday in the District, th city can breathe a sigh of relief as only one new case has been reported today.

Coimbatore: After reporting a whopping 29 new cases yesterday in the District, th city can breathe a sigh of relief as only one new case has been reported today.

Thus, the total now stands at 59. Nearly 100 people have been isolated under suspicion of coronavirus infections after it was confirmed that all of them had connections with those who had travelled to New Delhi for the Tablighi Jamaat conference.



The number of positive cases in TN has risen by 50 today to a total of 621 positive cases of COVID-19.

The District Administration has raised a request to those members who have been in touch with the travellers to New Delhi to remain isolated and report if there are any symptoms.
