Tirupur: Tirupur District Collector, K Vijayakarthikeyan has informed that two new cases of COVID-19 cases have been reported in Tirupur, on Saturday. Both the cases are linked to the New Delhi religious congregation. All those connected with them are under quarantine and strict monitoring.
Tirupur: Tirupur District Collector, K Vijayakarthikeyan has informed that two new cases of COVID-19 cases have been reported in Tirupur, on Saturday. Both the cases are linked to the New Delhi religious congregation. All those connected with them are under quarantine and strict monitoring.
A total of 1114 people are under house quarantine, and 61 people are out of quarantine period, the Collector noted.
As of April 4, Tirupur has three positive COVID-19 cases. The first case was a businessman from Tirupur who returned from UK and is been treated at ESI hospital in Singanallur. The two new patients have been admitted at Tirupur government hospital.
