Genomicist and founder of the company Surendra K Chikara said, "The screenig kits are being imported from one of our partners in the US. It is a USFDA approved product and has the approval certification from the ICMR. The home screening kit can provide relief from the fear of COVID-19."
The screening kit can provide quick results at home, without the need to step out of the house. Timely detection by the kit will make it a tool too prevent the spread to people in the vicinity, as the carrier can be isolated.
The kit will be priced affordably to cater to the masses and range between Rs.2,000 to Rs. 3,000, depending on the global supply.
The kit is an IgG & IgM based tool and takes 5 to 10 minutes to deliver the results. Using the alcohol swab the finger should be cleaned and the provided lancet can be used to prick the finger. The provided cartridge will read the blood results in 5 to 10 minutes.
