For the last few days, nearly 100 people have been isolated under suspicion of coronavirus infections after it was confirmed that all of them had travelled to New Delhi for the Tablighi Jamaat conference or had connections with those who have travelled.

The number of cases in TN has risen by 102 today to a total of 411 positive cases. Chennai had the most number of cases that were tested positive today.
With nearly 100 people related to the Jamaat incident, quarantined in Coimbatore, Annur and Mettupalayam and with 28 cases reported on April 1st, 2020, this news of no additional infections identified today for the second day in a row must come as welcome news to denizens of the city.
