Coimbatore: MP PR Natarajan said that he inspected Harsha Mahal in Masakalipalayam to oversee the food distribution work being carried out for over 10 days to over 500 people including other state workers and poor people by the CITU.
Coimbatore: MP PR Natarajan said that he inspected Harsha Mahal in Masakalipalayam to oversee the food distribution work being carried out for over 10 days to over 500 people including other state workers and poor people by the CITU.
He also said that a meeting was held with other CITU officials on extending the food distribution services.
For the past 5 days, the Coimbatore CITU cadres have been providing food to hundreds of migrant workers and people who have no access to food.
CITU District President has been involved in the food preparation tasks. The CITU's Hotel Workers' Union is working with other CITU affiliated associations to distribute the food, packing and distributing it.
He said, "I would like to congratulate the CITU cadres knowing that their work will continue in the coming days".
